A bold, art deco inspired, contemporary family garden was designed to complement the house and interior décor of this large family house and to encompass the refurbished, kidney shaped swimming pool.

The terrace and sweeping steps are ‘crazy’ paved in Welsh slate. Exotic palms, Olive trees and architectural plants flank the route to the rest of the garden. Bulbs, perennials, small shrubs and grasses in soft yellows, bronze, purples and blues fill the raised planting beds and provide the main focus from the main living space within the house. A curving box hedge wraps the swimming pool, punctuated with huge, glossy white palm-filled pots.  Subtle lighting extends evening swimming and entertainment.  Tree ferns and lush planting to the rear provide visual focus across the large ‘tear drop’ shaped lawn.  A curving evergreen ‘Star Jasmine’ hedge masks the play area, skirting the lawn and exudes a wonderful scent throughout the summer months.
